Over the past several weeks we have been surveying our Cable TV customers, asking if Premier should keep AMC on the channel lineup. Despite negotiating an agreement with AMC, and AMC coming down slightly from their initial demands, they were still demanding a large increase in the cost to show their channel. We wanted to know what you, our customers, thought about keeping or dropping AMC.
For all of you that took the survey - thank you! With more than 1,400 responses. An overwhelming majority - 87%, both do not watch AMC at all, and would like Premier to drop the channel. You’ve spoken, and we are listening, which is why, as of FEBRUARY 1, Premier will be dropping AMC from our Cable TV lineup.
For those that watch ‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘Breaking Bad,’ and other AMC shows, you can watch the shows online via:
- Amazon Prime – under “shop by department”, choose “Amazon video”
- Google Play
- iTunes - (must have an iPhone, iPad or PC/Mac Computer)
- Xbox store – use your xbox gaming console
- Vudu
